Solar grant claims need careful reading because eligibility can depend on income, benefits, property condition, location, supplier route or local authority funding. A bold advert is not the same thing as a confirmed grant.
Ask which scheme is being referenced, who administers it and what evidence is needed. Check whether the support covers solar panels, battery storage, insulation, heating upgrades or a package of measures. Some adverts blur those differences because it makes the offer sound simpler than it is.
If a salesperson says you definitely qualify before asking the basic eligibility questions, pause. Real funding routes have rules. They may still be useful, but they should survive a direct check against official guidance.
